Forensic
Accounting & Fraud Investigation
As defined in the
book, FORENSIC AND INVESTIGATIVE ACCOUNTING (Crumbley, Heitger, &
Smith-CCH, 2003), Forensic Accounting is: “the action of
identifying, recording, settling, extracting, sorting, reporting,
and verifying past financial data or other accounting activities for
settling current or prospective legal disputes or using such past
financial data for projecting future financial data to settle legal
disputes.”
Forensic accounting uses scientific intelligence-gathering
methods to resolve legal issues surrounding accounting and related
areas, including fraud investigations. Further, this is done for
the purpose of litigation support, including assisting attorneys,
government entities, and courts – including giving expert testimony,
if needed.
Phoenix:DFS

fraud related
services, including those related to divorce, embezzlement, fraud,
government, various aspects of
litigation support,
